Young shluchim across the globe depend on the programs of The Shluchim Office.

Packing List

Your child should only have ONE piece of luggage. Please do not use garbage bags, and please ensure the bag and all items are clearly marked with your child's name and a contact number.

Items that your child(ren) should bring:

  • Warm Coat
  • Bathing Suit
  • Towel
  • Sweater/Sweatshirt
  • Shabbos clothes
  • 1 set of weekday clothes
  • Warm sleeping bag or blanket
  • Pillow
  • Pajamas
  • Toothpaste, toothbrush

Due to numerous food allergies, please do not send any peanut-related foods or snacks with your child.

We ask you not to allow your child to bring valuable items (iPods, digital cameras or similar) and take no responsibility for missing items. If your child is traveling with important documents (passport, birth certificate or similar) please ensure these are left with a parent.

In addition to the above cautions about valuable items, please note that Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim does not allow smartphones or internet-enabled devices such as iPads, PSPs or other tablets. Please do not send these devices with your son – they will be confiscated and returned to a parent. If you would like him to have a phone for safety reasons, please ensure it does not have Internet capabilities.

The Kinus Tzeirei Hashluchim program is an educational, fun, and exciting experience. It runs alongside the duration of the Kinus Hashluchim from Friday morning through Sunday night. An all-day Thursday program is also available to accommodate shluchim arriving earlier. (The Thursday program does not include sleeping accommodations.)

The main program begins on Friday morning and concludes with the gala banquet on Sunday evening. Full accommodation is included with the program.  For 72 hours, your child will be in a warm and chassidishe environment, supervised by a dedicated staff. The children and staff will eat and sleep in the same facility. The program will include learning sessions, farbrengens, going to the Ohel, a trip, and much more.

To register your child, please complete the online form, which also lists the final date registration will be accepted. A registration fee of $175 per child is required, plus an additional $50 for the program on Thursday. We will update you with additional information, including exact program dates and schedule, upon receipt of your registration form.

Due to the limited amount of space available, registration forms will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Only those who are pre-registered and pre-paid will be able to participate. Completing the registration form is not a guarantee of acceptance - your child is not registered until you receive an e-mail confirmation from our office.
